5 Key Mentalities

These five mentalities have transformed my life and they can do the same for you.

 

1. Hard Work is a Reward

We believe that hard work is the ultimate reward. This mentality drives us to constantly seek more—another rep, another set, another challenge. The hardest workers are rewarded with more hard work, and that should make you hungry. Desire each task with the same intensity as your next breath of air, and dominate whatever lies ahead.

2. Earn Everything

In our gym, nothing is given—everything is earned. This ties directly into our belief that hard work is a reward. True satisfaction comes from knowing that every bit of progress, every achievement, was earned through discipline and effort. Whether in the gym or in life, good things come to those who work for them.

3. Rep by Rep

When things get tough, we focus on the moment. Instead of looking too far ahead, which can overwhelm and distract, we break things down—day by day, workout by workout, set by set, and rep by rep. This mentality keeps you moving forward, tackling what’s right in front of you. Each moment prepares you for the next, so stay present and let each rep build your strength.

4. Your Beliefs Form Your Perceptions

The way we see the world—and ourselves—is shaped by our beliefs. Confirmation bias ensures that we find what we’re looking for, so it’s crucial to monitor and adjust your mindset. True breakthroughs occur when you change your perception of what’s possible. If you believe something is hard or unattainable, it becomes so. Audit your beliefs and reshape your reality.

5. Don't Set Limits

Limits exist only in the mind. Hand in hand with monitoring your beliefs, this mentality encourages you to remove the barriers you place on yourself and others. Take off the governor and let your potential run free. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. Don’t let self-imposed limits hold you back from what you’re capable of.
